Acelepryn GR Frequently Asked Questions

How long does Acelepryn GR last on Australian lawns? +

Acelepryn GR provides industry-leading residual control, offering up to **6 months of protection** from a single application. For complete year-round coverage, we recommend applying it twice yearly—once in Spring and once in late Summer.

Is Acelepryn GR safe for dogs, cats, and bees? +

Yes. It is **exempt from poison scheduling** in Australia and targets specific muscle receptors in insects that mammals (like pets and humans), birds, and bees do not have.

When is the best time to apply Acelepryn for lawn grubs? +

The optimal window for preventative control of African Black Beetle is mid-September to October. For a second preventative dose to cover Argentinian Scarab, apply in mid-December. For curative treatment of armyworms, apply as soon as you see damage.

Does Acelepryn GR need to be watered in immediately? +

For root-feeders like grubs, you should water in immediately with at least 3–6mm of irrigation to move the product into the soil. Important: If you are targeting surface-feeders like Armyworm, delay watering and mowing for 24 hours to let the product sit on the leaf.

Will Acelepryn kill mature lawn grubs already in my grass? +

Acelepryn is a superior preventative, but it is not a fast knockdown for fully grown, mature grubs. If you have a severe, active infestation, you should use a knockdown product like Zeus first, then follow up with Acelepryn for long-term protection.

Can I use Acelepryn GR on Buffalo, Kikuyu, and Couch grass? +

Yes. It is completely safe and effective on all common turf varieties used in Australia, including Buffalo (like Sir Walter), Kikuyu, Couch, and Zoysia.
